This is usually prepared at the table by finely grating the root using a Miroplaner or a Sharkskin grater. Superb flavor and you grate the entire root. The root does not freeze well and is good for about 1 week wrapped in a moist paper towel. You can grate the root, and freeze it then if needed. Amazing flavor when paired alongside the Tamari or Soy Sauce during your sushi experience.
